Pricing & Billing
No seats, no tiers. $50 free credit to start, and a Team plan that saves you money as you grow.
Stoa gets better the more people use it. Why would we charge per seat?
There are no seat licenses, no feature tiers, and no gates. Everyone on your team gets full access to everything. You only pay for usage, and the Team plan gives you a better rate.
Plans
Free
$0. You get $50 in welcome credit and access to every feature. No credit card required to sign up.
That $50 covers roughly 15 one-hour sessions for a team of 8, which is about a week of regular use. Once it runs out, you can add credit anytime or upgrade to the Team plan.
Team
$125/mo billed annually ($1,500/yr), or $150/mo billed monthly.
You get $300 in free credits when you sign up for the annual plan. The Team plan also includes:
- 31% off all usage through prepaid credits
- Unused credits never expire. They stay in your account as long as you need them.
- Direct founder support when you need help
- Priority onboarding call to get your team set up
- Early access to new features before they're generally available
Both plans include the same features. The Team plan just gives you better economics and hands-on support.
What's included in both plans
Talk & Decide
Video calls with live transcription, AI-extracted decisions, and session summaries.
Build
A sandboxed coding agent that writes and runs code during your meetings. Shared workspace with automatic versioning.
No limits
Unlimited team members. All integrations and full API access. Export everything, always.
How much does it actually cost?
Here's a real example. A team of 8, meeting about 2.5 hours a day (roughly 12.5 meetings a week):
| Monthly cost | |
|---|---|
| Zoom + Notion + Granola (8 seats) | ~$299/mo |
| Stoa Team (annual) | $125/mo |
| Stoa pay-as-you-go | ~$171/mo |
Switching to the Team plan saves about $174/mo (58%) compared to the tool stack it replaces. And the Team plan's prepaid credits save you an additional $46/mo compared to pay-as-you-go.
Managing your balance
Your current balance is always visible on the Billing page. You'll see:
- Current credit balance
- Lifetime credits loaded
- Lifetime usage
When your balance gets low, Stoa lets you know. Your sessions are never interrupted mid-call. Usage beyond your credit just continues at standard rates.
Adding funds
Go to your team's Billing page and pick an amount. Funds are added instantly to your balance when you charge a saved card.
Auto-reload
If you don't want to think about it, turn on auto-reload. It automatically tops up your balance when it drops below a threshold. Only team admins and owners can configure this.
Budget caps
You can set a monthly budget in your team settings. When you hit it, new sessions pause. No surprises.
Payment methods
Add a credit card through Stripe's secure form on the Billing page. You can save multiple cards, set a default, and remove cards you no longer need. Only admins and owners can manage payment methods.
Usage breakdown
The Billing page shows what you're spending on over the last 30 days, broken into three categories:
| Category | What it covers |
|---|---|
| AI | Decision enrichment, AI agent conversations, summaries |
| Sandbox | The coding agent's execution environment |
| Collab | Video, transcription, real-time sync infrastructure |
Each category shows total spend and number of events, so you can see exactly where your credits go.
Transaction history
Every charge and credit is logged:
- Credit Purchase and Bonus Credit show up in green
- Usage charges show up in red
- Each row shows the amount, running balance, description, and date
